THE TIME OF MY LIFE

If I said the AC/DC concert was good; the Green Day concert was unbelievable awesome. I think I left a part of me there. So cliché, but a bit true!

I was at Ullevaal Stadium about 12:30 PM, more than eight hours before the concert... and there were already 2-3 hundred people there waiting!

Photobucket

About half past two, the security-people put up metal fences, and everybody ran for it! I was lucky to get in the front of one of the queues separated by the fences. There we had to stand squeezed into each other until about 4 o'clock! It was not that bad, actually, even though it was very hot. We could hear Green Day doing sound checks from inside the stadium!

When we finally were let in to the stadium, I ran like hell, seriously, to the stage! And I was one of the very first to reach it, there was only ONE person in front of me! I was honestly barely hanging on while waiting inside the stadium. It was torture, standing squeezed into people in the sun and the heat for three hours. (And I mean REALLY squeezed. I almost didn't get my jacket off, because there was NO room around me to move) I'm surprised that I didn't pass out, I felt like I almost did several times. Luckily, there were nice Røde Kors-people who gave us water! Without them I would have had to leave my awesome spot right in front of the stage. Or well, three hours of torture is worth it, seeing Green Day and Billie Joe SO CLOSE. Damn!

Photobucket

They let several people up on the stage during the concert! They got to sing and dance with and hug Green Day... Ond one girl was kissed by Billie Joe Armstrong! On the mouth! I died! And one boy (named Benjamin) got to sing Longview. The whole song. Together with Green Day. I died again.

Give Me Novacaine:
I love this song! I'm so happy that they did it live!
(A lot of screaming all over the place, of course. And I'm not actually holding the camera still, but who can blame me! Green Day, I died!)

Good Riddance (Time Of My Life):

Oh, God. The ultimate concert experience. Everyone sang the lyrics with him, 25 thousand people! It was the most awesome moment ever. And I was so insanely happy, because I love Green Day and all their songs, especially this, but at the same time I knew that with this song it would all be over! So I started crying.

WE ROCK AT DAWN ON THE FRONT LINE

The trip to Oslo with Sunniva, and the AC/DC concert was absolutely fantastic!
We didn't get enough sleep and I'm dead tired, but I really couldn't care less.

SATURDAY, 29th of May:
We woke up at 05:00 am (!), and went by car, plane, bus, train and metro for four hours to get to Oslo. We went to meet my uncle and aunt, we would be sleeping at their place later. We actually managed not to meet their twin sons during the whole stay! Pretty interesting...

We went to a café for lunch. It was in Karl Johan's Gate, so we could watch all the strange people that walked by. A lot of eurovision-fanatics with flags and shiny clothing, and a special-kid in a store with ugly stuff. Entertainment! We wanted to sit outside in the sun to enjoy the hot weather (it's summer in Oslo!), but there were only one free table, and there was a seriously scary woman sitting by the table beside it. We decided it would be more safe to sit indoors.

On the Opera:

We were pretty exhausted when we returned to the house around 10:00, after having walked around in Oslo for 12 hours.

SUNDAY, 30th of May:
The day of the concert! We went to the concert arena around two, and there we waited for one hour, then they opened the first "doors", and we were allowed in to the area where they sold beer and food and stuff. We ran like crazy people to the next doors, that would not be opened until 5:00 pm. We were two of the first 20-30 people there, which is pretty impressive when you think that there were in all 40 000 people on the concert!
WAITING:

Photobucket

When they opened the last doors, we were not allowed to run (HAHA), but of course everyone did. I and Sunniva got some really good places, in the corner between the catwalk and the stage. There were only two people in front of me! (I repeat: there were 40 000 at the concert.) Then I was all ready for the concert to begin! ...But we had to wait three hours for a sucky warm-up band, and two more hours for AC/DC. In all, I did not sit, eat, or drink for 10 hours. In the end, while waiting for them to come on stage, I was so sick and tired of waiting, that I actually thought of leaving. (Shame on me!) But when they finally came (about 09:50) it was all worth it!

I think that the only time people actually cheer on a 55 year old man stripping, would be on a AC/DC concert.

Rosie:

Setlist:
1. Rock N'Roll Train
2. Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be
3. Back in Black
4. Big Jack
5. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
6. Thunderstruck
7. The Jack
8. Hells Bells
9. Shoot to Thrill
10. High Voltage
11. You Shook Me All Night Long
12. TNT
13. Whole Lotta Rosie
14. Let There Be Rock
Encore:
15. Highway to Hell

Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Hells Bells and Shoot to Thrill was awesome live! It was sad that they only did 15 songs, especially after having waited for 8 hours, I had hoped for a longer concert... And they didn't finish with For Those About To Rock.
They were really good, though!

SHOEGAZE

I'm in the mood for SPRING, and therefore I earlier today decided to listen to Asobi Seksu. (Yuki Chikudate, the singer, on the picture over) They have the most wonderful music, it's in the genre dream pop. And that's exactly what it feels like listening to them. You should try it:

So now I'm totally ready for summer.
But unfortunately the rest of the world don't seem to be, because it just started snowing. I just hope it won't stay... I really envy Jannicke right now, I bet it's not snowing in Tokyo tonight!

I should probably sleep, because I have a tentamen in Scenography and Costume tomorrow. I wonder how bad it'll be, we will probably be making scene models. 5 hours is not enough time for that at all! I wonder what on earth the teachers are thinking with.
Thank God for candy, I say.

SPEED OF LIGHT

Photobucket

Photobucket

Because of my medicine, I cannot be in the sunlight for three weeks. It is really depressing, I have to wear thick clothes and hide my face when I'm outside, and if that was not bad enough, the spring is finally here! Luckily, I can enjoy the sun through my windows. It's not the same, though.

SPRING

Is now a fact!
And I'm going to town in my leather jacket!

BOTTLE FAME, BREW GLORY

Just because I'm watching Harry Potter right now.

And it hits me everytime I watch the Harry Potter-movies, that Hermione Granger looks just like my little sister, Edvarda! I'm kind of jealous, because they're both really pretty.

It's just been three weeks since the winter holidays, but I'm already tired of school, again. Therefore it's about time to read some Harry Potter, it always makes me want to do great. And I could really need that now! I accually like being a nerd, it's just so much work!
Luckily, it's just one more week before easter holidays. I'm really looking forward to it, I'm going to read lots!
And I'm planning on making my own easter egg!
Candy ~ (It tastes good, in the mouth)

Now the snow is finally starting to melt away properly. It's been a hell of a winter, with seriously sick amounts of snow. It was ice cold for weeks, and when it finally became warmer, it just started snowing even more. No wonder I get winter depressions, it never ends! The irony is: there's so much snow that the skiing day at school had to be cancelled! (HURRAY!) Because of high risk of avalances all over the country, half the roads in the area have been closed. Which also gives me a good reason for not wanting to be in Oppdal in the easter holidays!

I think spring is the only time when people are accually happy when it's raining. Personally, I'm wishing for rain every day, so the snow will disappear. It's been raining for two weeks now (YAY!), but still it's still half a metre of snow everywhere! (It accually snowed a bit yesterday evening. Made me want to die a little.) One positive thing is that most of the roads are free of snow. Just a little slush some places. So now I can wear pretty shoes again! And in the rain I can wear my red rubber boots and my purple raincoat! And I love my umbrellas.

I love the pattern on my raincoat.
(My mum's accually got an identical one.)

I just went and opened the curtains of my window, and it's SUNNY! I love spring! Too bad it's still cold.

HIGH HOPES

I love high heels! (Especcially if boys are tall, so I'm still the shortest!)
I've gone WILD shopping high heels lately, just look at this:

These are mine:

These are Sunniva's:

These leopardprinted ballerinas have no heels, but they are NEW, so they've earned a spot!

Now we just have to arrange enough parties to use them all!
And I can't wait until spring comes and the snow melts, so I can use them outside!

FASCINATING.

THIS IS:

Lucia Holm takes the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen.
Click on her name or google her, you'll be amazed!

THE PROM:
It was kind of suck-ish, but it was a lot of fun! The DJ was an ass, but he didn't dare not to play Franz Ferdinand when I gave him my scary look. But of course, he waited to play Ulysses 'till I went to powder my nose. And when I got back, he was playing suckish shit again.

Boredom:

I'm glad I went, though! I wore my beautiful off-white lace dress.
AND my awesome Bjørg-necklace! (Click it. Awesomeness.)

SOCIAL SUICIDE

Today was the first day of school after an almost two weeks long Christmas holiday. Still, I'm more tired of school and everything that has to to with it than ever.
It feels like the world hates me right now; I have a test in Social Sciences on thursday (I think, if not already on Wednesday!) and I have to do a project in History, about a subject I have not yet chosen(It must be handed in on friday)... Also I must attend the school theatre (Which is not so tempting right now) and bass lessons on Wednesday...

Luckily, I have things in the near future to look forward to; weekend, Paulina's birthday, Paulina's birthday parties, and the school ball. The last one I'm not so sure of anymore, I sort of have no one to go with, Anne might have to work, and Paulina's bringing Leif... I might find someone else to stalk, though.

I could really need a girl's night again, with ice cream and movies! (ANNE, PAULINA, BILJANA +++.)

Anyways! Today I was up at my mum's place, being bored as usual, but this time I listened to Lydverket on P3. And I've found a new really cool band from Bergen! I had a real WOW-experience hearing this song on the radio, among all the suckish popmusic.
(I bet Paulina is gonna like this one...)

Social Suicide - 5th Man on a Dead Man's Grave

It's really Bring Me The Horison-ish! I love them. The first thing I did afterwards was google them and download four of their songs from Urørt's website.
I really hope they'll be playing on Hove this summer!

2010

2010 came at a very good time.
New year, new possibilities, right? 2009 ended in disaster for more than one person. New Year's Eve turned out to be a complete catastrophe, for reasons I don't want to go into details about here. But that was last year, now it's the start of 2010!

I surprise myself with my positivity, and hope that other feelings won't catch up on me later. This is the year when me and most of my friends will turn 18, and when my exchange student-friends abroad will return to Norway. I'm looking forward to it so much, I don't know how I'll manage to wait for it all!

I also look forward to aicon, desucon and Hovefestivalen! Paulina, you have to get a driving licence! (No pressure...) I also wish that we could have a girl-trip to Trondheim together, me and my closest friends. That would be fantastic!

New-year resolutions:
1. Start exercising (ANNE, you have to make me come with you to Moldehallen! I have a feeling that I will regret making this public...)
2. Get really good grades!
3. Read more books
4. Be more positive
5. Spending more time with my friends
6. Stop being så introverted
7. Take things less seriously, be more relaxed about things

Well... I haven't really thought about it much. So these were things I came up with right now.

ANYWAYS. I don't think that these new-year resolutions will make me a better person in any way, but it's good to be ambitious!

Happy new year!
