SWEDISH AWESOMENESS

Sweden was AWESOME. Seriously.
I've spent a little more money than necessary (Hehe), but that was expected. To a certain degree.
I'm gonna sum up some of the things we did the week in Stockholm, if I am able to remember what we did on the different days...

Monday.
We arrived at dinner-time in Stockholm after flying
Kristiansund -> Oslo
Oslo - Stockholm
and taking a bus to Stockholm city.
My father is one of those who is never able to just relax, so even if we were tired of travelling, we went out walking. We went to Gamla Stan (Old Town) and found the cutest restaurant ever in a backyard, where we ate dinner!
Afterwards, we walked around for an hour or so, before we went back to the hotel to get some sleep.
(On vacations we seem to eat dinner really late. Which is not a good thing. I don't sleep very well when I eat at such late hours. but anyways.)

Tuesday.
I hate that we have to wake up early to eat breakfast at the hotel! I'ts like waking up to go to school. So unneccessary!
We went to the museum of modern art, which was really cool! A lot of modern art is really strange and just... special (not in a good way), but a lot of the things in this museum was really good, if not special (this time in a good way). I like art, but sometimes it seems like artists do everything to be noticed...
I bought an Andy Warhol magnet!

(So cool.)

Wednesday.
We took a boat out to Drottningholm, to see the castle and stuff. It was rellay warm out there! I thought I was gonna melt or evaporate or something.
We walked around in the Royal Family's "garden" for some time. It was accually more the size of a park. A huge one.
We also visited the China Castle, in the middle of the "garden". It was a birthday present for one of the Queens a couple of hundred of years ago. Very pretty! And my sister is convinced that she is going to marry the prince, Carl Philip.

Thursday.
We went to the amusement park Gröna Lund! Very fun. I and my sister don't like scary roller coasters, and we saw a one we thought would not be so scary or unpleasant, and thought that it would be fun to ride it. That's before we sat down in the wagons and a poster said that we were going to be exposed to 4,5 G.
So scary! But it was not that bad, accually. We survived!

Friday.
Shopping! I think I spent a little more money than necessary, but that's okay! I bought a lot of nice clothes, and the coolest bag ever.
And since my grandmother was in Stockholm with us, she wanted to buy me clothes! "OKAY! I mean, if you insist!"
I've looked for this tank top for AGES. I've wanted it for at least two years, and FINALLY i found it!
If you look closely, you'll see skulls inside some of the flowers.

The bag i bought looks like this, but is white and a little cooler.

Saturday.
We took a boat out to some small island (VERY small), where we took a bath in the ocean. It was ice cold! The ocean water in Norway is a lot warmer. While lying by the water, two gigantic tourist ships drove past the ridiculously little island, and suddenly huge waves hit us! my towel got soaked, one of my shoes almost was taken by the sea, and my brother's new camera died.
Dramatikk i skjærgården.

Sunday.
We went bicycling on Djurgården, and to a small aquarium. Then we visited a tecnical museum, which was really fun!

Monday
A little more shopping!

Tuesday.
Before we went back to Norway, my father and Espen wanted to try Segways, machines for really lazy people who don't want to walk. Therefore we walked to a mall called Gallerian, where we could try the machines. It was a little fun in the beginning, but what's wrong with walking? So many unnecessary machines that makes us even lazyer.
